Polymer Forum in Czech Republic exceeded all expectations

After three successful Polymer Forums in Germany, the first Polymer Forum of TER Plastics POLYMER GROUP outside of Germany took place in Brno in the Czech Republic on June 7th, 2016. The conference was a great success: right from the start more than 100 participants from various important sectors such as automotive, sanitary, mechanical engineering and electronics / electrical appliances attended.

We managed to win nine top-class speakers for this forum. Their presentations revolved around plastics for high-performance applications – innovations, markets, opportunities - during the one-day event in the Fait Gallery in Brno. The latest trends and product opportunities in the areas of lightweight design, tribology, long fiber technology, CAX-systems and additive manufacturing were pointed out.
The Dutch polyamide specialist DSM introduced the newly developed partially aromatic range Stanyl ForTii MX 1-3. Amongst others, the products are suitable for use under high temperature loads with improved toughness and chemical resistance for highly loaded applications in automotive / powertrain.
Teknor Apex presented TPE solutions for automotive applications and also the powerful Automotive online tool which enables the user to find the right grade for a certain application within a short period of time and Polyplastics introduced their latest product developments in POM with lowest emissions.
TER Plastics introduced their latest developments in TEREZ LFT and GT2 with a focus on highest strength and stiffness. GT2 additionally performs excellent with a “class a” surface quality.
The conference was accompanied by an exhibition of the lecturing companies in the foyer. Alongside the lectures the exhibited objects stimulated lively discussions and professional exchange - not only during the breaks. The Infopool was rounded off by specialists of the Bata University, GWK and Simcon.
