PA6 and PA66 are used in a number of applications, from injection-moulded parts for the automotive or sports industries to semi-finished products and corrugated pipes produced in an extrusion process. The portfolio of our partners Envalior and TEREZ PERFORMANCE POLYMERS includes specially-modified characteristics such as being hydrolysis-modified, flame-retardant, with improved flowability, impact-modified, with high rigidity and stability, and also tribologically-modified.

PA6 - Miniature Circuit Breakers

As producers of low voltage switchgear (LVSG) continue to depart from halogenated thermoplastic and thermoset materials, they are now turning to more environmental friendly solutions. Producers of Miniature Circuit Breakers enclosures are now using halogen-free flame retardant Polyamide 6 (PA6).
