With Arnitel from DSM and SKYPEL from SK chemicals, we offer you an extensive portfolio in the field of TPC (TPE-E). TPC (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) is a block copolymer on a copolyester basis. TPC is used in dynamic applications where longer constant flexibility is required such as applications where material is continuously bent. TPC also has a high strength which makes it resistant to damage. Another advantage is that TPC can be painted, making it ideal for design applications.
Typical properties of TPC are:
TPC materials are available in different variants. Depending on the material requirements, they are available with the most diverse specific properties. Use our form to contact our specialists for the right material selection of your project.
TPC is used in the following applications:
Wires & cables
Arnitel XG, an extrudable TPC with excellent electrical properties as an alternative to PVC solutions in the field of DC and AC power cables and for data cables such as USB or HDMI.

SKYPEL TX, is a highly transparent TPC for injection moulding in the hardness range ShoreD 50-70. The transmission values are almost 90% and are therefore suitable for optical glass. SKYPEL TX has extremely good recovery and impact strength with high chemical resistance. This very innovative material can replace transparent TPU's and transparent PVC's very well.
